2. Vocabulary - a command of both range and depth of precise language for a variety of settings
3. Grammar - a grasp of language mechanics to show time, manners, actions and syntax
4. Comprehension - understanding direct and implied meanings as part of any given text
Anything above zero line is considered above average, which means that the higher the bar is, the higher the particular competency, versus national standards.
Anything below the zero line is an area for improvement, which needs correction and remediation; the earlier, the better, to correct possible weaknesses now, to avoid rolling them into the future.
